Who we are
The Two Step programme provides a specialised housing service for single people in London who are homeless and is part of the charity HOPE worldwide. We strive to treat each person that comes to us with respect, dignity and compassion and to help them find somewhere to live. We have found that the simple acts of offering someone a cup of tea or coffee and really listening to their story is a great way to begin working together. Sadly we have not been able to meet people in person recently due to the impact of COVID-19 but we have managed to continue to offer our service remotely.

Two Step began in 1993 as a voluntary Christian response to the large numbers of people living on the streets at that time. Since then, Two Step has built up a large network of accommodation providers which enables us to help over 200 people a year to find a new home.
We work in partnership with night shelters, day centres, councils and other charities who refer people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness to our service. We then do our best to help people find suitable accommodation so that they can move on with their lives and avoid the downward spiral that can be the result of living on the streets.
