Partnership working

Referral Partnerships

Two Step works in partnership with many night shelters, day centres, hostels, charities and local authorities who collectively refer around 700 people a year. Our network of landlords, letting agents and supported housing partners enables us to help around 200 of these find suitable housing, and many more find accommodation elsewhere after the support or advice they receive.

We are grateful to the London Housing Foundation for funding our "Charity Housing Service" that has helped us establish partnerships with night shelters and day centres run by Glass Door, Robes Project, NEWway project and many others. This service has housed over 290 people since it began in 2017.

“Caseworkers appreciate the very good working relationship we have with the whole team at HOPE worldwide with special mention to your responsiveness, attentiveness and ongoing updates about referred guests” Boguslaw Szewczyk, Co-Head of Casework, Glass Door Homelessness Charity.

“It is a pleasure to work alongside you and the support you have given to our guests in moving on is phenomenal.” Angie Allgood, Director, NEWway Project.

"HOPE worldwide (Two Step) are great at empowering tenants to expect high standards of their landlords...HOPE treat all our clients as individuals and often go the 'extra mile' showing flexibility and patience" No First Night Out

Working with Accommodation Providers

To meet the housing needs of the people referred to us, we have invested a lot of time building and developing effective working relationships with many estate agents, landlords and other housing providers. This network of relationships enables us to help around 200 people per year find suitable accommodation.

The bigger picture

We are members of Homeless Link and attend local, regional and national events and forums to build better connections with other organisations that are addressing the issues around homelessness.  We recently presented at a Homeless Link PRS Forum, and previously delivered a presentation 'Better Partnership Working with Landlords' at a London Councils event hosted by the charity Shelter.
